To allow maximum flexibility, Unified Registrar is
organized as two different sites. The reseller
has options to brand this portion of the site with
custom logo, CSS stylesheets and more. The user can
also add remove items that appear on the website menu.
Menu
Navigation on the website is done using dropdown
menus. An advanced menu editor is available in the
reseller administration area that allows the user to
change the items that appear on the main dropdown
menu. Reseller is also allowed to customize the colors
used for the menu. This menu will be shown in product
site as well as secure site.
Logos & CSS Stylesheets
Reseller can upload a new logo as well as CSS
stylesheet. CSS stylesheet modification can be done to
existing stylesheet to change fonts etc. The website
is coded in a way that the user can also choose
between fixed width page or make the site occupy the
whole browser width using percentage widths.
No Navigation Option
A special mode of operation is possible with the site
with the navigation completely turned off. The
advantage with that is, you can swich top navigation
off and then can frame the whole content site into
your existing site. The secure site can also be
framed.
Reseller Name and Description
Reseller's name, description and email are used in
many parts of the site like page title, bottom
navigation etc.
Product Website Customizations
Product site is where the index page, features page
and other marketing text pages appear. These page hold
the marketing pieces that are very important to
persuade the user to buy. We design and manage a
default product site that you use or you can choose to
have full control.
You can easily choose to manage the product site
yourself. We will generate the default pages and
provide full access to the website through FTP so that
you can upload your own HTML site for the product
pages. It's upto you to design the pages in whatever
way you want. At this point, the product site is
nothing but a hosting space that we provide to you.
This will provide you ultimate flexibility
to tailor the home page and other pages to your taste.
Alternatively, you can use your existing site to
host all the marketing pages and link to the secure
site for core functionality. You can choose what works
best for you.
All the 'General Customizations' that you make
affects the Secure site.
Messages (System Messages
and Home Page Messages)
You also have options to specify custom messages that
can to be displayed on all the pages or you can target
messages to be displayed on the member home page. This
will help you advertise your products and add
information that will be useful for your business. So,
messages provides a way for you to manipulate the
secure site content as well.
